
This Policies page governs all SolarLocs™ purchases, invoices, email confirmations, custom production, shipping, and training programs. By placing an order or enrolling in a training program, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below. These policies are binding and enforced consistently.
1. Custom & Made-to-Order Products (Final Sale)
All SolarLocs™ loc extensions and custom hair products are handcrafted, made-to-order items created specifically based on the selections you provide at checkout, including but not limited to:

Length
-
Color or color blend
-
Quantity
-
End type (natural, blunt, etc.)
Because each order is produced uniquely for the client:

Orders are considered bespoke and custom-made

Refunds, exchanges, and cancellations are governed strictly by the timelines and conditions outlined in Sections 2, 4, and 6 of this policy
Custom-made products are not eligible for standard returns and are handled under our limited exchange and bespoke refund framework only.

2. Definition of Production Start
For clarity and consistency, production officially begins 72 hours after order placement, or once materials are pulled and work is initiated—whichever occurs first.
72-Hour Modification Window
Customers can request changes to their order within the first 72 hours after it has been placed.

3. Order Processing & Production Timeline
Production Time
Most SolarLocs™ products are bespoke and hand-made. Production typically takes 3–4 weeks before shipment.
Orders that include any of the following may require the full production timeframe:

Lengths over 14 inches

Goddess ends

Vivid or custom color blends

Specialty finishes

Large quantity orders (400+ locs)

Ready-to-Ship Items

Loc samplers and items clearly marked “Ready to Ship” are pre-made

These items ship within 72 hours of payment (excluding weekends and holidays)
Timeline Disclaimers

Production timelines begin after payment is received and order specifications are finalized

All production timelines are estimates, not guarantees, due to the bespoke nature of the work

Production updates are only provided if additional information is required

4. Changes, Cancellations & Corrections (Strict)
Changes or Cancellations

Change requests must be submitted within 72 hours of purchase

During this 72-hour window, customers may request modifications to their order

If changes result in a price difference:

Customers will be refunded any overpayment, or
-
Billed for any additional cost prior to production

Cancellations After Production Has Begun

Orders cancelled after production has started are subject to a 30% non-refundable bespoke initiation fee, which will be deducted from any eligible refund

This fee covers materials sourcing, labor allocation, and production preparation already incurred
After 72 hours, orders are locked for production.
No exceptions will be made for:

Installer availability or cancellations

Personal scheduling conflicts
-
Misunderstanding of extensions vs. installation services

5. Payment, Invoices & Chargeback Policy

6. Returns, Refunds & exchanges Policy
Due to the bespoke, custom-made nature of SolarLocs™ loc extensions and products, full refunds are not available once production has begun.

Exchanges (Limited)

Clients may request one (1) exchange for sizing or color adjustments

All exchanges must be approved by SolarLocs™ prior to return

Approved exchanges are subject to a 30% non-refundable bespoke initiation and restocking fee

Original locs must be returned unused and in original condition

Return shipping is the responsibility of the client, unless otherwise stated
SolarLocs™ Error Resolution
If SolarLocs™ makes a verified error in sizing, color, or length:

We will prioritize correcting the issue

Return postage will be provided

Replacement will be issued in accordance with standard production timelines
Refund Processing

Refunds, when applicable, are issued only to the original payment method

Refunds are processed in accordance with our cancellation and production policies
By completing a purchase and agreeing to our policies at checkout, the client acknowledges and accepts these terms.
7. Shipping Policy

Installation Scheduling Disclaimer (Important)
Clients should not schedule installations sooner than 4 weeks from the order date.
SolarLocs™ does not coordinate installation services and cannot guarantee delivery timelines that align with third-party scheduling.
Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details

SolarLocs™ is not responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect addresses
8. Risk Transfer, Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages

Responsibility transfers to the customer once the carrier marks the package as Delivered

SolarLocs™ is not liable for porch theft, carrier delays, or misdelivery

Claims for damaged packages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery and may require photo documentation
9. Training, Bootcamps & Certification Programs

Remaining balances may be refunded minus a 30% administrative fee to cover materials, food, housing, and preparation costs already incurred
Rescheduling & Transfers

10. Intellectual Property & Use Restrictions

Unauthorized reproduction, resale, or teaching is prohibited
