SolarLocs extensions are completely handmade with 100% virgin human hair. We do not use synthetic or hybrid hair blends.
This listing is 10 (Ten) LOCS/Bundle in width 4mm in SOLID color. Request sent with ombre colors will be redirected to the correct listing or will be billed for price difference.
There is no minimum purchase needed and shipping is free.
4mm (0.4cm) width usually corresponds to a slightly smaller size than a standard pencil, or what is commonly referred to as a "small microloc". An install of this size usually requires 175-200 locs for a full head, depending on density. Please reference a ruler and comparison pics in this listing to get an idea of the width. Please consult your loctician if you are unsure about width or amount.
The texture of these locs best matches curl patterns 4A, 4B, and 4C.
Crochet style = locs look like mature, dense locs (small traditional)
Interlock Style = locs are made using a 4-point rotation and resemble a new interlock install. They will mature and condense over time to eventually look like crochet style.

Please review carefully before purchase, as ALL SALES ARE FINAL unless it is a mistake on our behalf. All orders are bespoke. They are custom-made, designed, and crafted specifically to meet your needs. Therefore, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us before making a purchase or leave a note in the order field. If a mistake is made on our behalf, we will provide a return label and will send out a replacement after receipt of return. Despite using universally accepted units of measurement to describe our loc widths and lengths, we understand that misinformation on social media and within the microloc community regarding sizing can result in confusion and can result in ordering the wrong size. If you are unsure about the correct width, please take advantage of the size samples or send us a message with pictures to review. You have 72 hours after placing an order to make any changes so if you are worried please feel free to message us and make sure.
If we agree to exchange an order due to customer error, a 30% restocking fee will be required before shipping out the replacement. The customer is expected to return the products unused and in the same condition. Return postage is the customer's responsibility.
Shipping Policy
SolarLoc Extensions™ are custom-made for you with each order and are not mass-produced or drop-shipped. Therefore, please allow 3-4 weeks for processing and shipping orders totaling 400 locs. For orders totaling 400-600locs, please allow up to 6 weeks. For orders over 600 locs, please contact us for a shipment estimation.
How many Locs should I Order?
If extending current locs, it is suggested to count the number of locs you have and order 10-15 more than that number as a cushion.
If you are starting with a fresh, full-head install, the following is suggested for size, but your hair density is the determining factor:
1mm only = 500-550 locs
1-2mm mix= 400-500 locs
2mm only = 350 - 400 locs
2-3mm mix = 300 locs
3mm only = 230-280 loc
micro (4mm) = 150-200 locs
pencil = 100-130 locs
